The Yörük are the last nomadic tribe of Anatolia. For generations, they have moved their herds through the Taurus Mountains of southern Türkiye, following the same routes between highland and lowland pastures. This film follows the women who carry that world forward.
Elif Koyutürk Hazen made this film from the inside — her parents were her only crew. The result is a portrait of a world that is disappearing, told by someone who carries it in her own body.
